Manilatown Academy is happy to be bringing back for the fourth time our popular Ilokano Culture course with Jeffrey Acido, PhD - this time as a virtual course!

In this course, we will:
Reclaim and reawaken our nakem (soul-consciousness)
Learn basic Ilokano phrases and proverbs
Explore Ilokano philosophies and epistemologies
Uncover Ilokano-American history
Share stories and experiences of what it means to be Ilokano in the diaspora
We invite you to rediscover, embrace, and honor Ilokano heritage through storytelling, learning, and community connection!
