The Manilatown Heritage Foundation produces a variety of affordable family-friendly programming at the International Hotel Manilatown Center. As a multipurpose gallery that honors the I-Hotel Eviction and Historic Manilatown legacies, we stand as  both a museum to these legacies and a community gathering space offering programming relevant to today’s community.

Manilatown Arts

The Manilatown Heritage Foundation programming falls under three primary pillars: Manilatown Arts, Manilatown Archive and Manilatown Academy. The Manilatown Arts pillar includes all of our community commemorations; musical, theatrical and spoken word, performances; and visual art exhibitions.

Manilatown Archive

The Manilatown Heritage Foundation programming falls under three primary pillars: Manilatown Arts, Manilatown Archive and Manilatown Academy. As the stewards of San Francisco's  Manilatown community and the 1977 International Hotel Eviction legacy, our organization maintains and makes accessible the Manilatown Archive of artifacts, media, documentation and oral histories related to both historic Manilatown and today's Manilatown community.

Manilatown Academy

The Manilatown Heritage Foundation programming falls under three primary pillars: Manilatown Arts, Manilatown Archive and Manilatown Academy. The Manilatown Academy pillar includes all of our educational programs including our I-Hotel Historic Walking Tour; Annual I-Hotel Commemoration; Alternative Spring Breaks; our Manilatown Ancestral hands-on pre-colonial Philippine music, dance, crafts, language and culture workshops and classes; and Manilatown Ancestral Communities of Practice.
