Chet Canlas is a San Francisco-based independent filmmaker and cinematographer who has produced, written and directed documentaries on San Francisco’s history and traditional Philippine culture.
He joined the MHF team in 2005 producing two documentary films “Runbutans: Manilatown runs the Honolulu Marathon” and “Rise of the I-Hotel”. His latest project “The Al Robles Express” is as profound as the poet it was inspired by.
