Please join the Manilatown Heritage Foundation on Sunday, May 17th as we pay homage to the Grand Nightclubs of Historic Manilatown with Dancing, Live Music and Refreshments.
Benito Santiago’s “Beginning Ballroom & Latin Dance at the I-Hotel” at 12Noon provides a safe, fun space for social dancers to learn and practice Ballroom and Latin Dance basics with or without a partner.
The fun continues at 2pm with a celebration of the rich musical and literary offerings of the San Francisco Bay Area with Carlos Zialcita as he proudly hosts the Jazz Meryenda Performance Series. These concerts and poetry readings will feature the I-Hotel House Band as well as a new guest performer each month.
Jazz Meryenda is proud to present May’s guest ensemble Bahia Son! Bahia Son plays Afro-Cuban son, salsa and Latin Jazz for your dancing and listening pleasure.
