Please join the Manilatown Heritage Foundation on Sunday, April 19th as we pay homage to the Grand Nightclubs of Historic Manilatown with Dancing, Live Music and Refreshments.
Benito Santiago’s “Tea Dance at the I-Hotel” at 12Noon provides a safe, fun space for social dancers to learn and practice dance, with or without a partner. Beginning students can learn Ballroom and Latin dance basics while intermediate and advanced dancers can practice their skills.
The fun continues at 2pm with a celebration of the rich musical and literary offerings of the San Francisco Bay Area with Carlos Zialcita as he proudly hosts the Jazz Meryenda Performance Series. These concerts and poetry readings will feature the I-Hotel Manilatown Center’s House ensemble as well as a new guest performer each month.
